Our fabulous new chancel console is being stained a rich beautiful red/brown to match the existing chancel furnishings! In the images below, you can see the many pieces of the console receiving under at least one coat of stain. Additionally, the bench and outer cabinet are changing color as well. The stop jambs are burled and will complement the rest of the console. The jambs are awaiting their many stopknobs!
Work begins in the church on Monday morning – protecting the pews and floors, and making the space ready for a forest of scaffolding! Lots of pics coming soon!
