Up high and down low!

Second post in one day – but there is much and constant progress! I climbed to the top of the Gallery case today and saw both the new Solo division and the pedal upperwork. This space – high up on top of the Gallery organ – has been smartly utilized. Below you will see pictures of the new Westminster Trumpet (just a sneak peak at its polished copper loveliness from behind!), the bottom octoave of the Great 2nd Open Diapason, the new Cornet V and Orchestral Flute 8 (the latter two with tremulant!) The other pics show the pedal upperwork cleverly placed along the back wall, but still very high up!

On my way up I also snapped some pics of the Swell, Choir, and Great divisions – much pipework is in place but much more to come!

One of the areas that got a very different layout was the Gallery pedal division – as you saw above much of the upperwork is high up, but some of the pipes are on a lower level, including the 8′ and 4′ octaves of the Bombarde, the Mixture, and the 8′ Diapason.

So as you can see lots of progress – and more to come! Stay tuned!
